MUSIC AND LIFE: AN ESSAY IN INTERPRETATION
Abstract
Music has life, force, power and as such it has strength. It is a human invention with great
energy varying from age to age; the complexity of the music is dependent on the people,
culture and aspirations of an age. Music types remain broadly music of the universe, the
music of the human being and the music produced with the aid of instruments. Music aids in
making life worth living and bright; and has the ability to shoot a man to stardom, and
becoming a rich personality, though some music destroys the humanity in man, bringing out
bestiality. All said and done, philosophy is the foundation of arts while music is thebest in the
arts.
